How do you delete a Spare Number?

The best way to delete a Spare Number family is from your Equipment Schedule. Since Spare Number families basically empty, they are very difficult to locate in Revit.

But they will be listed in your Equipment Schedule and from there you can right-click them and select Delete Row. This will delete that specific Spare Number family.

If you want to take it a step further and delete all of the Spare Number families in your project, select a Spare Number from your Equipment Schedule and use the Highlight in Model button on the Modify Ribbon. Then once Revit displays a view with the Spare Number, right-click the Spare Number family and click Select All Instance>In Entire Project. Then click Delete to delete all of the Spare Numbers in your entire project.
