This tool allows you to create and save a .csv file to a location you specify. The .csv file contains rows for each Specialty Equipment family in your project with common columns for quoting software such as AutoQuotes.

1. Setting Up the Export CSV tool
The Export CSV requires the Project “Mark” Value setting to be set to match your Equipment Schedule, KitchDesigner supports either Mark (Instance), Mark (Type), or Item Number. The Project “Mark” Value setting is located in Settings > Project.
Click on the Settings button.
The Settings window opens to the Project tab.
The Project “Mark” Value must match the equipment numbering parameter used in your Equipment Schedule.
By default, KitchDesigner uses the Mark(Instance) parameter for the Project Numbering Parameter. Another common choice is the Item Number parameter included in the FCSI shared parameters.
2. Using the Export CSV tool
Click on the Export CSV button.
A progress bar will appear while it gathers the equipment information.
Next a file browser will appear to allow you to specify the location to save the .csv file.
The pre-populated file name will include the values of the Revit Project Information parameters Project Number and Project Name. If those parameters are empty, the default file name will include “Project Number” and “Project Name”, as shown above.
Below is an example of the default file name when the Project Information parameters are specified.
