A file browser will appear where you can select a folder place the files.

Select a folder and press OK.

Next specify the Print Settings using the dropdown menus.

Finally review the File Settings and Folder Settings and make changes or use the default naming.

Press OK to start the file creation process.

The process takes a similar time to the standard Revit processes of exporting DWGs and printing individual PDFs combined which can be a few minutes so feel free to walk away during this time and return to a finished submission.

2.1- File Naming

The default file naming for individual PDFs and DWGs:

Sheet Number – Sheet Name

Example:QF110 – FOODSERVICE EQUIPMENT PLAN

2.2- Print Settings

View Sets must be created in Revit, once they are, they will be visible in the Select View Set dropdown menu.

Print Settings must also be created in Revit and will then be visible in the Select Print Settings dropdown menu.

The “Hint” provides the current sheet size of your Equipment Plan to help you select the Print Settings.

Bluebeam and Adobe print drivers are currently supported, if installed they will be visible in the Select Printer dropdown menu.

2.3- File Settings

A prefix can be added to the default file names for the individual PDFs and the DWG files.

The default combined PDF file name uses the Project Information parameters from Revit:

ProjectNumber_ProjectName_”Plans”.

For example, if you had named Green Hotel with project number GH3324, the default file name would be GH3324_Green Hotel_Plans. This name can be changed and is only provided by default as a convenience.

The checkbox can be used to skip the creation of the combined PDF.

2.4- Folder Settings

The folder settings are used to change the name of the folders that are created to hold the individual PDFs and DWGs that are created.

The checkboxes can also be used to skip the creation of either the individual PDFs or the DWG files.

The Create Submission tool has many similarities to the Print function in Revit, here is how they match up.
